Our Beliefs

  1. We are an independent Baptist Church
  2. We believe in the inspired Word of God. We believe that there are no errors or false statements in God’s Word, it is infallible (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21)
  3. We believe that nothing should be added to or taken away from God’s Word, it is the Truth
  4. We believe in the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 1:35)
  5. We believe in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection (I Corinthians 15:3-20)
  6. We believe salvation is by faith and faith alone by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:7)
  7. We believe at the time of salvation one is indwelled by the Holy Spirit of God which secures him in Christ forever (I Corinthians 6:19; Ephesians 1:13-14)
  8. We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (The Trinity I John 5:7)
  9. We believe that Baptism is the submersion of a believer in water to show his identification with Christ (Acts 8:12 and 36-37)
  10. We believe that speaking in tongues was a known language and this miracle ceased (I Corinthians 13:8-13)
  11. We believe that God meant marriage for one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24)
  12. We believe in the Rapture of the Church (I Thessalonians 4:13-18)
