Our Statement of Faith
Word of God
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe there are no errors or false statements in God's Word; it is infallible (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).
Truth
We believe that nothing should be added to or taken away from God's Word; it is the Truth (Revelation 22:19; John 17:17).
Virgin Birth
We believe in the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 1:35).
Christ's Death, Burial, and Resurrection
We believe in Christ's death, burial, and bodily resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-20).
Salvation
We believe salvation is by faith and faith alone by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:7; 2:8).
Indwelling Holy Spirit
We believe at the time of salvation one is indwelled by the Holy Spirit of God, which secures the believer in Christ forever (1 Corinthians 6:19; Ephesians 1:13,14).
The Trinity
We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7).
Baptism
We believe Baptism is the submersion of a believer in water to show his or her identification with Christ (Acts 8:12;36,37).
Cessation
We believe that speaking in tongues was a known language and this miracle has ceased (1 Corinthians 13:8-13).
Marriage
We believe God meant marriage for one biological man and one biological woman (Genesis 2:24).
Rapture
We believe in the Rapture of the Church (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
